We had a full English breakfast with lots of options. The staff was attentive and top-class, some of them especially. The location of the hotel was central, very close to Stafford and restaurant. Moreover, it was 2 km from an absorbing museum.
The staff were very busy, didn't expect that coming.

The room featured a nice spacious layout, allowing comfortable movement, and the decor had a cozy vibe. The pub environment felt cute.
Had a couple of quirks. Despite the cozy room, noise from outside was a consistent issue. The windows didn't shut properly, letting in all kinds of racket, particularly from roadworks and other guests slamming doors late at night. The heating setup was a bit off-radiators were stuck on, made for a sweltering environment, even though the staff provided a fan that only circulated the heat. Breakfast took a long time to arrive, even with just a few tables occupied, and it didn't quite meet expectations. Specific items were overcooked and seemed like they'd been sitting around. Some room maintenance would help this place shine.

Really nice stay, comfy double room with ensuite. Great location for exploring lichfield. Staff were super friendly and helped us out. The vibe in the pub was cozy and cute, loved the fireside! Even though we didnt eat, the food menu looked yum and we heard it was great!
the only downsides were the slow check-in and the breakfast was a bit basic for the price we paid.

I recently enjoyed a good stay at The Hedgehog. The cozy ambiance, fantastic food, and attentive staff enhanced my experience. While the outdoor seating could use a little tidying, it didn't overshadow the charm of this lovely spot. Perfect for a relaxing time by the bar.

Experiencing the charm of this lovely old building was a highlight, with a spacious room that offered excellent views of the countryside. The friendly staff, and the food-especially the fried oysters-was really good. The only downside was finding the location a bit difficult initially, but the ample parking made up for it. All in all, a wonderful experience that warrants a return visit.
